Thank you for shopping with Gharsamaan.in. We aim to provide premium and reliable home essentials to our customers. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Return Eligibility
You can request a return within 7 days of delivery if:
- The product is damaged, defective, or broken.
- You received the wrong product.
- The product is missing parts or accessories.
- The product received is different from what was shown on our website.
As per Indian e-commerce consumer protection rules, return and refund policies should be clearly available to customers before purchase, and sellers should not refuse refunds/returns when products are not as advertised or are defective.
2. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be unused and in its original condition.
- The product must be returned with original packaging, tags, labels, invoice, and accessories.
- The customer must share clear photos/videos of the product issue.
- An unboxing video may be required for damaged, missing, or wrong-product claims.
3. Non-Returnable Products
Returns may not be accepted for:
- Used or damaged products caused by customer handling.
- Products without original packaging or invoice.
- Items returned after 7 days of delivery.
- Clearance, combo, or special-discount products, unless damaged or wrong product is received.
- Personal hygiene products, if opened or used.
4. How to Request a Return

Our support team will review your request and confirm approval or rejection.
5. Return Pickup
If your return request is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup where service is available. If reverse pickup is not available in your area, you may need to ship the product to our return address.

6. Refund Policy
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you about refund approval.
If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method or another agreed payment method.
Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days after the returned product passes quality inspection. The actual time may depend on your bank, UPI, card provider, or payment gateway.
The Consumer Protection E-Commerce Rules, 2020 require e-commerce entities to process accepted refund requests according to the applicable payment-system timelines.
7. Refund for Prepaid Orders
For prepaid orders, refunds will be credited to the original payment source such as UPI, card, net banking, wallet, or payment gateway account.
8. Refund for COD Orders
For Cash on Delivery orders, the refund will be processed through bank transfer or UPI. Customers may be required to provide:
- UPI ID or bank account details
- Order ID
- Registered mobile number
Please ensure the details are correct. Gharsamaan will not be responsible for refunds sent to incorrect details provided by the customer.
9. Replacement Policy
In some cases, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, especially for damaged, defective, or wrong products. Replacement depends on product availability.
10. Order Cancellation
Customers can request order cancellation before the product is shipped. Once the order is shipped, cancellation may not be possible. In that case, the customer may request a return after delivery, subject to this policy.
11. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, COD charges, or handling fees may be non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or wrong product sent by Gharsamaan.
