By placing an order on Gharsamaan.in, you agree to this Delivery Policy.

1. Delivery Coverage

Gharsamaan currently delivers products across serviceable locations in India.

Delivery availability depends on:

  • Customer PIN code
  • Courier partner serviceability
  • Product availability
  • Order value
  • Cash on Delivery availability, if selected

If your location is not serviceable, your order may be cancelled and the eligible refund will be processed for prepaid orders.

2. Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time may vary depending on your location.

  • Metro cities: 3–6 business days
  • Other cities: 5–8 business days
  • Remote areas: 7–12 business days

Delivery timelines are estimates and may change due to courier delays, public holidays, weather conditions, incorrect address, customer unavailability, or other operational issues.

3. Order Processing Before Delivery

After your order is confirmed, it is packed and handed over to our courier partner.

Most orders are processed within 24–48 business hours.

Orders placed on Sundays, public holidays, or during high-demand periods may take longer to process.

4. Delivery Partner

Gharsamaan may use third-party courier and logistics partners to deliver orders.

Once your order is shipped, delivery will be handled by the assigned courier partner. Tracking details may be shared through SMS, email, WhatsApp, or your order page.

5. Customer Availability

Customers are requested to be available at the delivery address during the expected delivery period.

Please ensure that:

  • The mobile number is active and reachable.
  • The address is complete and correct.
  • Someone is available to receive the package.
  • Cash is ready if the order is Cash on Delivery.

If the customer is unavailable or unreachable, delivery may fail or be delayed.

6. Failed Delivery Attempts

Courier partners may attempt delivery multiple times as per their policy.

Delivery may fail due to:

  • Customer not available
  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Wrong mobile number
  • Customer refusing the order
  • COD amount not ready
  • Location not accessible

If delivery fails, the order may be returned to Gharsamaan.

7. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery may be available for selected products and PIN codes.

For COD orders:

  • Please keep the exact order amount ready.
  • Confirm the order if our team contacts you.
  • Do not refuse the package without a valid reason.
  • Repeated refusal of COD orders may restrict future COD availability.

8. Damaged or Open Package

Please check the package condition before accepting delivery.

If the package looks damaged, opened, leaked, or tampered with, you may refuse delivery and contact our support team immediately.

If you accept the package and later find any damage, missing item, or wrong product, please contact us within the return window mentioned in our Return & Refund Policy with clear photos/videos.

9. Delayed Delivery

Although we try to deliver orders on time, delays may happen due to:

  • Courier partner delay
  • Weather conditions
  • Public holidays
  • High order volume
  • Transport issue
  • Government restrictions
  • Natural events
  • Incorrect customer details

Gharsamaan will not be responsible for delays caused by courier partners or situations beyond our control.

10. Delivery Confirmation

Once the courier partner marks the order as delivered, the order will be considered completed.

If you receive a delivery confirmation but have not received the package, please contact us immediately so we can raise the issue with the courier partner.

11. Wrong Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for entering the correct delivery address.

Gharsamaan will not be responsible for failed, delayed, or wrong delivery caused by incorrect address details provided by the customer.

If you need to update your address, contact us before the order is shipped.

12. Return to Origin

If an order is returned to Gharsamaan due to failed delivery, customer refusal, incorrect address, or customer unavailability, the order may be cancelled.

For prepaid orders, the eligible refund may be processed after deducting applicable shipping, COD, or handling charges, where applicable.
